Browning's X-Bolt builds on the proven successes of past Browning rifles, and adds numerous improvements. Its adjustable three-lever Feather Trigger system provides a clean, crisp pull with no take-up. The barrel is free-floated by bedding the front and rear of the action for stability and to help maintain barrel to stock spacing for consistent accuracy. A recessed muzzle crown helps protect the rifling from damage. The bolt unlock button works in conjunction with the top-tang safety to provide an added measure of safety, while the 60 degree bolt lift is fast cycling and allows you to work the bolt quickly.
The Hells Canyon Long Range model features a fluted heavy sporter barrel with 5/8-24 threaded muzzle brake and a steel drilled/tapped receiver.
This 6.5 Creedmoor model has a 26" barrel with burnt bronze cerakote finish, McMillan Game Scout stock with textured gripping surfaces, Pachmayr decelerator recoil pad, and Desert Carbon Ambush finish. It utilizes a 4" Picatinny rail for bipod, two quick detach swivel cups, 20 MOA Picatinny rail, and includes 1" swivel and thread protector.
